Windows Application Support Engineer

We are seeking a Windows Application Support Engineer to provide technical support for Windows-based applications and environments. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting application issues, supporting Windows environments, automating tasks with PowerShell, and collaborating with cross-functional teams during migration and deployment projects.

Experience with desktop/application migrations and Azure-hosted environments is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for Windows-based applications in production environments.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve application, operating system, and infrastructure issues.

  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate operational tasks.

  • Support Windows Server and Windows desktop environments.

  • Participate in desktop and application migration projects.

  • Validate application functionality after migrations or deployments.

  • Perform root cause analysis and document resolutions.

  • Coordinate with Project Managers, infrastructure teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

  • Escalate complex technical issues when necessary.

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in Windows Application Support, Windows Administration, or a similar role.

  • Strong experience with PowerShell scripting.

  • Experience supporting Windows Server and/or Windows 10/11 environments.

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

  • Experience supporting enterprise applications.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work with multiple teams and stakeholders.

  • Basic project coordination or project management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with desktop or application migration projects.

  • Experience with Azure, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), or Windows 365.

  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals and post-migration connectivity validation.

  • Experience performing application validation, smoke testing, regression testing, or User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

  • Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Remedy.

  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and Microsoft Teams.

  • Knowledge of SQL is a plus.

ADVANCED CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH AND SPANISH ESSENTIAL (Will be evaluated).
