QA Automation & Infrastructure Engineer
Purpose:
Act as a hands-on QA automation engineer and platform builder. This role
combines deep test automation expertise with infrastructure engineering to support scalable,
self-service QA across the entire delivery lifecycle—including pre-delivery, UAT, and
post-deployment validation.
Key Responsibilities:
● Build and maintain reusable automation frameworks and test infrastructure components (execution, orchestration, reporting).
● Design and implement automated test suites (functional, regression, integration, UAT)
● Develop self-service tools/interfaces enabling delivery teams to independently run and monitor tests.
● Optimize environment provisioning, test data injection, and pipeline observability to accelerate release cycles.
● Integrate testing into CI/CD workflows using tools like GitLab, Jenkins, Bamboo, and GitHub.
● Collaborate with QA leads and engineers to evolve test platforms that support delivery-focused automation needs.
● Contribute to testing-as-a-service initiatives across pre-release and post-deployment
environments.
Ideal Background:
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
● 8+ years in software development or QA automation, ideally blending both.
● Strong coding skills in Python, Java, JavaScript, and SQL.
● Proven experience in designing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks and test infrastructure.
● Hands-on with tools like Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, and Postman.
● Skilled in CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, Bamboo, GitHub Actions) and cloud-based deployments.
● Proficient in Docker, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices.
● Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, microservices, and agentic AI agent-based systems.
● Ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable automation code that supports long-term delivery velocity.
Advanced English and Spanish (will be assessed).
If you are a foreign resident in Mexico, you must have a valid INE (National Electoral Institute ID), CURP (Unique Population Registry Code), NSS (Social Security Number), and RFC (Federal Taxpayer Registry).
Work type: Remote.
Location: Mexico.
Salary: $42,000 gross.
