OT Architect (Time Series & Rich Media)

Job description:

• 
  8 YOE total experience  
• Technical architect & engineer that designs and implements solutions to ingest, contextualize, curate, and expose time series data, rich media, and unstructured content for consumers using Azure services;
• Establish technical standards and designs solutions to comply with Chevron cybersecurity guardrails;
• Experience with IoT Hub, EventHubs, EventGrids, Azure Data Explorer, cloud-based storage mechanisms with focus on Azure Storage Accounts and Azure Data Lake, data pipelining through tools like Azure Media Streaming, custom Azure Functions, and Databricks, modern application development (DevOps, OAuth, RESTful APIs), data management and governance principles, enforcement of data standards, metadata management, and data modeling; understanding of complex datatypes and concepts on data analytics.
• Uses and develops patterns for implementation, owns technical decisions, and aligns with business strategies and portfolio investments.
• Ensures quality technical delivery, reduces technical debt and drives modernization.
• Continuously improves and evolves technical guidance.
• Coaches engineers to build with engineering discipline through mentoring and design or code reviews, participates in architecture runway, and advocates for automation and automated provisioning practices; testing, modularity, scalability, observability and integration.
• Effectively communicates with both technical and non-technical audiences.

ADVANCED CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH ESSENTIAL (Will be evaluated).
