Support Engineer

Job description:

Required Expertise: 

8-10 years Experience as a Senior Linux SDE 

For external candidates, systems administrator, devops engineer 

(On-Call experience – Not really required) 

Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills 

Automation experience 

Strong programming experience (prefer golang and/or python) 

Strong config management experience (Salt, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc) 

Ability to make strategic decisions and leadership in this area 

Experience assessing new environments and new challenges and reporting findings 

Experience managing large scale projects and environments 

Networking experience 

Strong communication skills 

 

Nice to have: 

Familiarity with: 

o    Running Java Enterprise software 

o    Managing Apple MDM 

o    Out of Band Management (IPMI/Redfish/etc) 

 

ADVANCED CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH ESSENTIAL (Will be evaluated).

Salary: $70, 000 gross .
