Lead QA Analyst / Support (BA + QA)

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading QA activities for system implementations, preferably in logistics, parcel, transportation, customs, or Brokerage-related environments.

  • Strong understanding of Mexico Brokerage operations, customs processes, parcel clearance flows, regulatory requirements, and operational dependencies.

  • Experience working as a liaison between business users, technical teams, vendors, and project stakeholders.

  • Strong ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications, test scenarios, and validation criteria.

  • Experience coordinating QA teams, assigning testing activities, reviewing test evidence, and following up on defect resolution.

  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, defect management, test case design, UAT support, regression testing, and release validation.

  • Experience using project tracking, QA, or defect management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, HP ALM, or similar.

  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, documentation, and follow-up skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, dependencies, risks, and escalations in an implementation environment.

  • English and Spanish communication skills preferred, especially for vendor, business, and technical coordination."

Responsibilities

  • Lead the QA and implementation support activities for the SLAMNET-Parcel rollout in Mexico, ensuring alignment between business requirements, technical implementation, vendor deliverables, and operational readiness.

  • Act as the main coordination point between the SLAMNET vendor, the client technical team, Brokerage business stakeholders, and QA resources.

  • Track implementation progress, open items, defects, functional gaps, dependencies, risks, and required decisions throughout the implementation lifecycle.

  • Translate Brokerage business needs and operational requirements into clear functional and technical requirements for the vendor and technical teams.

  • Review, prioritize, and coordinate change requests or enhancements required by the Mexico Brokerage operation during the implementation phase.

  • Define and coordinate QA test plans, test scenarios, acceptance criteria, defect tracking, and validation activities for SLAMNET-Parcel functionalities.

  • Delegate testing activities to QA Engineers, ensuring proper execution, documentation, evidence collection, and timely follow-up of defects or issues.

  • Validate that delivered functionality meets approved requirements before moving forward with business validation, UAT, release readiness, or production deployment.

  • Support issue triage by analyzing defects, identifying business impact, coordinating with vendor/technical teams, and ensuring proper resolution.

  • Provide regular status updates to project stakeholders, highlighting progress, blockers, risks, defects, and required escalations.

  • Support go-live readiness activities, including final validation, defect closure, business sign-off support, and post-go-live stabilization.

  • Ensure QA documentation, test evidence, defect logs, requirement traceability, and implementation tracking artifacts are properly maintained.

ADVANCED CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH AND SPANISH ESSENTIAL (Will be evaluated).
