Senior Network Engineer – Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical SME with deep expertise in Routing, Switching, Firewalls, and Cisco ACI. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in network infrastructure deployment, troubleshooting, and optimization across diverse environments, including Data Centers, Remote Offices, and Cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities & Expertise:

• Network Infrastructure Deployment: Strong hands-on experience in racking, stacking, and installation of networking devices for new setups and deployments.

• Advanced Troubleshooting: L3-level expertise in diagnosing and resolving complex network issues efficiently.

• Protocol Mastery: Deep understanding of TCP/IP, OSI Model, Firewalls, and advanced network protocols such as BGP, MP-BGP, EVPN, VXLAN, MPLS, and DCI.

• Secure & Resilient Network Design: Proven ability to design and implement secure, highly available, and fault-tolerant networks, leveraging network segmentation, carrier divergence, and failover strategies.

• Traffic Analysis & Performance Optimization: In-depth knowledge of packet analysis techniques to optimize network performance and security.

• LAN, WAN & Data Center Expertise: Extensive experience managing and supporting large-scale LAN, WAN, and data center networks.

• Multi-Vendor Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Cisco and Arista (VXLAN, EVPN) solutions, as well as firewalls and collaboration systems.

• Monitoring & Diagnostic Tools: Proficient in using Wireshark, NetFlow, and IT monitoring solutions for network analysis and troubleshooting.
