ServiceNow Developer / Administrator - Remote in Mexico

Important IT company At the Latin American level, growth requires:

ServiceNow Developer / Administrator 

We are looking for a ServiceNow Developer / Administrator to design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow solutions across ITSM and ITOM. 

The ideal candidate combines strong ServiceNow development and scripting experience with knowledge of platform administration, integrations, workflows, and CMDB. 

Because this is a specialized ServiceNow position, candidates who meet approximately 70% of the requirements may be considered, particularly if they have strong ServiceNow development, scripting, ITSM, and integration experience. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop and customize ServiceNow applications and platform capabilities. 

  • Configure and enhance ITSM modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, and Service Catalog. 

  • Support ITOM capabilities, including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Orchestration, and CMDB. 

  • Develop using JavaScript, Glide API, GlideAjax, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, ACLs, and Scheduled Jobs. 

  • Build workflows and automations using Flow Designer / Workflow Editor. 

  • Develop integrations using REST, SOAP, Scripted REST APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and web services. 

  • Perform data migration and transformation using Import Sets, Transform Maps, and scripting. 

  • Troubleshoot scripts, workflows, integrations, and platform performance issues. 

  • Support upgrades, releases, cloning, patching, and instance maintenance. 

  • Maintain CMDB data quality and platform governance. 

  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions and documentation. 

  • Mentor junior developers and promote ServiceNow development best practices. 

Required Experience 

  • 3–5+ years of ServiceNow development/administration experience. 

  • Strong experience with ServiceNow scripting and JavaScript. 

  • Solid knowledge of ITSM processes and ServiceNow configuration. 

  • Experience with ServiceNow integrations and APIs. 

  • Experience with workflows, Flow Designer, Service Catalog, and automation. 

  • Knowledge of CMDB and preferably ITOM capabilities. 

  • Experience troubleshooting and supporting ServiceNow production environments. 

  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow development standards and secure coding practices. 

Nice to Have 

  • ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, CIS-ITSM, or CIS-ITOM. 

  • Experience with Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, or Orchestration. 

  • Experience with IntegrationHub and MID Server. 

  • Experience developing custom ServiceNow applications. 

  • Experience mentoring developers. 

  

ADVANCED CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH AND SPANISH ESSENTIAL (Will be evaluated).
