Business Analyst – Fiduciary
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in fiduciary operations, trust administration, and software delivery. will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating business needs into functional requirements while ensuring compliance with Mexican regulatory standards and industry best practices.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Required Experience
7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Fiduciary, Trust, or Financial Services.
Proven experience participating in fiduciary system implementations, enhancements, or digital transformation initiatives.
Experience working in Agile environments.
Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including Product Owners, Developers, QA, and Business Users.
Functional Knowledge
Strong knowledge of fiduciary operations and trust administration.
Knowledge of Mexican fiduciary regulations and compliance requirements.
Understanding of trust accounting processes.
Experience with fiduciary financial reporting.
Knowledge of different trust products.
Understanding of operational and legal processes related to trust management.
Risk management and internal controls within fiduciary operations.
Business Analysis Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications.
Create high-quality User Stories with clear Acceptance Criteria.
Manage and prioritize product backlog items.
Facilitate workshops and requirement elicitation sessions.
Conduct GAP analysis and process analysis.
Model business processes (As-Is / To-Be).
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Collaborate closely with development and QA teams throughout the SDLC.
Ensure traceability between business requirements and delivered functionality.
Technical Knowledge
Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Experience with Agile, Scrum, and iterative development methodologies.
Understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD).
Knowledge of the Red-Green-Refactor development cycle.
Understanding of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) is a plus.
General knowledge of software architecture and system integrations.
Understanding of APIs and web services.
Basic SQL knowledge for data validation.
Knowledge of computer systems and enterprise applications.
