Job Description: Fusion Finance Techno-Functional Consultant at GSB Solutions

As a Fusion Finance Techno-Functional Consultant in the CRM department at GSB Solutions, you will play a key role in implementing and supporting Oracle Fusion Finance applications. You will work closely with business users to understand their requirements and translate them into functional specifications. Your responsibilities will include configuring the system, testing new features, and providing end-user training and support.

Job requirements

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Required Technical Skill Set

  • Experience in Oracle Fusion Financials support.

  • Strong knowledge of:

    • GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Expenses, Tax

    • SLA accounting rules and setups

    • Procurement-to-Pay (P2P)

  • Expertise in support activities:

    • Ticket lifecycle (Incidents, SRs, Enhancements)

    • Root-cause analysis

    • SLA-based support handling

  • Ability to support finance close cycles, reconciliations and cross-module issue resolution

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L2/L3 support for Oracle Fusion Financials modules, including:

    • General Ledger (GL)

    • Accounts Payable (AP)

    • Accounts Receivable (AR)

    • Fixed Assets (FA)

    • Cash Management (CM)

    • Expenses

    • Tax (Oracle Fusion Tax)

  • Analyze and resolve functional issues related to:

    • Chart of Accounts, Ledger/Legal Entity setup

    • Subledger Accounting (SLA) rules

    • Journal processing and reconciliation

    • AP/AR Invoice processing, payments, receipts

    • Asset additions, depreciation, retirements

    • Bank statement reconciliation (CM)

  • Support month-end and year-end finance close activities

  • Perform configuration updates (lookups, tax rules, approval rules, band accounts, payment methods etc..)

  • Work with business users to gather requirements and provide root cause analysis (RCA) and solutions

  • Support Quarterly updates (Patches) impact analysis, regression testing validation of new features

  • Manager SRs with Oracle for product defects and coordinate resolutions.
